Description

The first large modern models of the '80 generation' it was in the autumn of 1977 that the F12 tractors were launched for the traction of semi-trailers, replacing the F89s that appeared in 1970. These models with an entirely new advanced cab benefited from the research that had led to the launch of the N models in 1973. This was especially true of the special high-strength steel chassis, and the elements of the kinematic chain, also improved and reinforced. The serial use of aluminium tanks and leaf springs with a parabolic profile resulted from the need to reduce the weight of the tractor as much as possible in order to increase the market load.
